This SDI to HDMI Converter converts HD-SDI or SD-SDI (720P or 1080P) to HDMI. Embedded SDI/HD-SDI audio is not supported , keeping cost reasonable.
The unit is ideal to connect an HD mixer/ switcher in a church / auditorium / HD camera with SDI output to an HD-SDI signal cable that has almost no length limitation to a screen/ display with HDMI input. This overcomes the HDMI cable length limitation of about 20m with a single cable, no converters etc required . HDMI input is common on Screens and projectors, were SDI connectors are found only on high end and expensive monitors and data projectors. Audio will be heard through P/A or speakers in the building, not from the monitor or projector. Unit supplied with 5V power supply
